Formed in Livorno, Italy in the early 1980s, Sabotage quickly became one of the country’s most explosive and respected heavy metal bands.

Blending the speed and energy of early thrash with the power and melody of traditional heavy metal, they carved their own identity in the vibrant European metal underground. Their raw intensity, twin-guitar attack, and commanding vocals made them pioneers of the Italian heavy/speed metal movement.

Fronted by Morby (later known for his work with Domine), Sabotage released a string of now-classic recordings that captured the pure spirit of 1980s metal fury. Their debut album, Behind the Lines (1986), remains a milestone—an unrelenting assault of riffs and attitude that defined a generation of Italian headbangers.

Now, Behind the Lines returns in two definitive editions: a brand new LP, first time ever on vinyl for the 2008 re-recorded version, and a deluxe 2CD set including both the 1986 original album and the 2008 rerecording, plus demo and live bonus tracks, all completely remastered for maximum impact. This is the ultimate tribute to one of Italy’s true metal classics.

But Sabotage didn’t stop there. Their powerful follow-up, Hoka Hey, pushed the band’s sound even further—harder, heavier, and more refined, with anthemic choruses and razor-sharp execution. Long hailed by fans as a lost masterpiece, Hoka Hey is now finally back on LP and CD, featuring remastered audio, bonus material, and the original band name and logo restored. The release includes the previously unreleased track “The Price”, “Welcome” from the Paul Chain split 12”, and the 1988 Demo—a must-have for collectors and true devotees of classic heavy metal.
