OMINUM - War For Peace CD

Gothenburg’s heavy hitting Thrash trio OMINUM were founded in 2018, with one goal: to concentrate on the heaviness aspect of the genre but add their own special twist of non-linear songwriting. Following a demo and 4 singles the band caught the attention of cult underground label Witches Brew, subsequently the debut full length, “Monument” was unleashed upon the Metal world in 2022. “Monument” received a lot of great feedback from zines and fans alike but not a band to rest on their laurels, this powerhouse trio got straight to work on a new, digital only single, ‘Epitaph’.

By mid 2023 they had written 3 additional songs that became more technical and complex, without losing the essence of their non-linear and aggressive style which would eventually become the “War For Peace” EP. This EP was released digital only by the band themselves in December that same year. Now, in October 2024 those 3 songs plus 2 bonus tracks (‘An Empty, Endless Race’ and a remix of ‘Epitaph’) get the CD treatment on Witches Brew! Nearly 30 minutes of exquisite Thrash that combines heavy, crunching riffs, virtuoso drums, powerful bass and spectacular guitar soloing all wrapped up in a crisp and powerful production!
