Lost Realm Records is thrilled to unleash Flesh & Blood, the long-lost 1988 masterpiece by Essen’s own Mad Butcher, finally on vinyl for the very first time!
Formed in 1980, Mad Butcher were pioneers of the German heavy metal scene, sharing stages with Sodom, Helloween, Slayer and Exodus, and carving their name with the cult debut Metal Lightning Attack in 1985.
After parting ways with Metal Enterprises Records, the band recorded Flesh & Blood in late 1988. raw, untamed, and brimming with the band’s defiant spirit. Long thought lost when the master tapes disappeared, this snapshot of Germany’s heavy metal glory days has now been painstakingly restored for true die-hard fans.
This long-awaited vinyl edition comes as a limited collector’s release, with brand new artwork inspired by the band’s original vision. A true piece of German heavy metal history, revived for the underground faithful!
