NIGHTRIDER are the definition of "U.S. metal heroes". The band was formed in the early 80's in the U.S. and wrote most of their songs between '80 - '84. For reasons beyond any sane man's understanding, no label signed the band back then, despite their obvious talent and marvelous song writing abilities.
Back in 2015 we had released the old recordings of the band on CD and as more recordings of the band have been "unearthed" since then, we thought it would be a good idea to re-release them and add them in two separate releases based on the period that each song was recorded. So after discussing with the band, we came to the conclusion that a CD and Vinyl version of the songs recorded by the band between 1980-1984 was the way to go, given the high quality of those tunes, plus the fact that songs such as "Open Road" and "Nightrider" were not present in the previous reissue.
All fans of RIOT, THE RODS, NWOBHM and melodic U.S. metal music in general, will go nuts with the early stuff of the band.
