CRYSTAL WITCH - Seasons CD (US IMPORT!) (Pre-Order)

CRYSTAL WITCH performed their brand of 70s-influenced hard-rock that one might expect to find on LA’s Sunset Strip in the 80s and early 90s, alongside such names as GREAT WHITE, TESLA, KIX, and LYNCH MOB.

The band performed all throughout the New England, New York, and Pennsylvania club circuit. The band was also featured on the television show “Live From Water Street Station” hosted by BLUE OYSTER CULT’s co-founder Joe Bouchard, and enjoyed frequent FM Radio airplay throughout the region.

In 1992, the band entered Nickel Recording Studio in Hartford, CT with engineer John Bolduc at the helm to record 6-songs for the band’s self-titled debut. The release was only issued on cassette in a very limited quantity.

The band returned to Nickel Recording Studio in 1993, again working with Bolduc and new bassist Chuck Palmer, who replaced Rosenbaum, to record the first CRYSTAL WITCH full-length album titled “Seasons”. The tracks would be mastered by Bob Acquaviva at Arqrok Studios in Utica, New York.

In an unfortunate poetic rock and roll fashion, the band broke up prior to the album’s release, causing the album to be shelved until a 6-song EP of tracks from the album surfaced on Backstreet Records in 1998 for a nationwide AOR radio promotion that led to the band entertaining the idea of reforming in 2001.

In 2025, the four founding members Zawisza, Savoy, Moriarty, and original bassist Rosenbaum reunited along with DOKKEN drummer BJ Zampa to write and record new CRYSTAL WITCH material. The newly reformed band released the first new CRYSTAL WITCH single in 33 years in December. The band continues to write and record into 2026 with plans to keep releasing new singles and a possible new album.
