Formed in 1986, RUG RAT carved its name into the local metal scene. They conquered iconic NYC venues like L' Amours and opened for heavyweights like ANTHRAX. This release resurrects their intense, late-1988 studio demo, "Victim Of The Storm".
After RUG RAT's core members went their separate ways, guitarists Buzz Pace and Paul Duthil reunited in September 1992 to forge a new beast: RICTUS GRIN.
RICTUS GRIN fused elements of classical, thrash, jazz, hard-core, and heavy metal to create a fresh, progressive sound for the 90s. Their relentless energy earned them opening slots for legends like MOTORHEAD, SACRED REICH, NUCLEAR ASSAULT and METAL CHURCH. Experience their moody, thought-provoking 4-track demo exactly as it was crafted at Galaxy Studios.
