When Gene Adam parted ways with ICED EARTH following their explosive debut, few could have predicted the sonic chaos that would follow. In 1991, ATOMIK COCKTAIL unleashed the "Free Drugs Inside" Demo, a scorching four-song blast of raw, unapologetic metal that captured the band at its most volatile and uninhibited. That same year, Batten made a bold move: dusting off four years of unreleased CUTTHROAT material (that featured former vocalist Todd Plant) and rebranding it as ATOMIK COCKTAIL's "Space-Metal Vampires from Hell" - a provocative title that promised pure underground bedlam.

What followed was a legendary journey through the underground. With bassist John Urban anchoring the lineup, Bruce Batten kept ATOMIK COCKTAIL alive through countless mutations and member changes, refusing to let the band's chaotic vision die. The band became a fixture in the deepest corners of the metal underground, building a devoted cult following among collectors and purists who craved authenticity over polish.

Now, CULT METAL CLASSICS brings these essential recordings to Vinyl for the first time, preserving the raw energy and uncompromising spirit of ATOMIK COCKTAIL's catalog. This is underground metal archaeology - a window into the post-grunge underground when metal was still dangerous, still hungry, still willing to offend.
